I know lots of people have been enjoying the lighter nights, and I’m no different.
It’s funny how lighter nights seem to come as a surprise every year, and we can’t quite believe that winter is finally over.
The clocks changing meant I finally had a chance to go for a walk after work, which is one of my favourite things to do. I grabbed my camera and headed off to a local park.
This was my first time outdoors with my new lens (the Canon 50mm f/1.8). I’m still realising that just because I can get such a blurred background, doesn’t mean I should! I think it would have been nice to have more of this photo in focus, but I’m definitely still getting to grips with this lens.
I’ve been feeling so much happier getting home with the sun still shining. It always makes me wonder if I should move to southern Europe, and feel like this all the time!
Have you been taking advantage of the lighter nights?
Yes I love lighter nights! I’m so happy spring is finally hear. It’s my favourite season. I hate the colder ones!

Yes I am loving the lighter nights and the opportunity to get out after dinner. We are taking advantage of it being the Easter hols and letting the little ones staying up later so that we can go to the beach on an evening. It’s lovely.

I don’t experience lighter nights and I’m still on the dark on the whole changing time thing. Love reading about it though!
