When it comes to cool bars, Nottingham has more than its fair share – and Hockley Arts Club is up there with the best of them.
Spread over three floors – each with decor to die for – it somehow manages to maintain a cosy vibe, especially for a bite to eat at the weekend.
I’ve been meaning to try the roast for AGES. When we finally got around to it, it didn’t disappoint.
I went for chicken, which had lovely crispy skin and came with loads of delicious trimmings – not least the tastiest cauliflower cheese.
There’s an impressive drinks menu too, with loads of interesting cocktails. One we ordered even came with a mini Twister on top.
If you’re heading out for drinks, I’d recommend booking yourself a table on the middle floor, where you can enjoy the gentleman’s club style interiors and kick back in a leather armchair.
This place has the winning combo of being one of Nottingham’s most Instagrammable venues, and having some of its best food. What more could you want?
I really want to try this Twister cocktail. Is it as good as it looks?
